NGU WOMEN'S SOCCER WINS FIRST GAME FOR NEW COACH MCCORMICK

Ashlyn Henderson fired in a goal off an assist by Leah Ward and Beth Morgan added another in the 71st minute to lead the NGU women to a 2-0 victory over Converse College in Spartanburg. The victory was the first for new head coach Jesse McCormick. [+]

The NGU (1-1) men’s soccer team dropped an evenly matched 2-0 loss to Montreat College in North Carolina. Montreat led by a slim 7-5 margin in shots on goal, but Shaka Bangura scored two late goals to lead the Cavaliers past NGU. [+]
